I am late to get on the bandwagon for this because I feel like I'm not the ideal buyer of subscription boxes for the main reason that I do not like waiting and wondering what on earth could be inside the subscription boxes. I'm the kind of person who can obsessively think about such things. But I finally subscribed to some of these boxes out of curiosity as to why a lot of girls love them so much. I want to test the waters and see if I will like the boxes . The first box that arrived on my doorstep is the Beauty SOS Glamour Box.

These are my first impressions of Glamour Box. Lets open the box shall we. (actually, I already opened it before taking photos. I was too excited to see what was inside, but let us relive the moment! :D ) First of all, I like this kind of packaging. It is sturdy, simple, but still fun to look at. It builds up the excitement of opening the box.

This adorable card is the first thing that I saw. I appreciate that they came up with a box theme and title, "Beauty SOS", which gives you an idea of what you are getting. That way I didn't have to guess what might be inside the box from
scratch. Now, I can narrow down the possibilities and obsess over fewer
ideas! :D The box is said to contain a selection of products that will aid you when you need a beauty rescue.

These are the contents of the box. I set aside the vouchers so you can see how the products were nicely arranged. I also included a snapshot of the card that has all the names and descriptions of the products included. I don't know if you can really read it but they also wrote down the actual costs of these products in full sizes, which is nice. The vouchers were not listed on the card.

I am not familiar with all of the brands included in this box. I've heard of some of them, but I've never actually bought anything from them, which gave me mixed emotions towards how I felt about this selection. The majority of the items were skin care products, as expected. I was a bit disappointed that it didn't include any under
eye cream because that was the first thing that came into my mind when I
heard about the theme.

I'm happy that the Ofra lipstick that I received is pink instead of red. I already have a couple of red lipsticks that I am very happy with, and I didn't really want another one at the moment. Early subcribers got an extra Mustela Emollient Cream, which is a nice incentive. I'll make sure I'll subribe asap again the next time I'm getting one of their boxes.

Above are the other products I'm also looking forward to try. All in all, it was a great experience opening the box and discovering new brands. If you do the math, you are definitely getting more than what you are paying for, which i think is the most important thing. Would I like to subscribe again? Yes I would like to subscribe again because its such a fun experience. But since I always have a long list of things I want to purchase every month, I'm still debating if I want to purchase a box every month. I also want to avoid getting one kind of product from a lot of different brands, especially if I've already found one that I really like. I will probably get a box if the theme sounds like something I would want. I also would like to wait a couple of days and try these products first to see how many of them will work nicely on me.
