Shopping Tales • Nordstrom & Sephora Haul

19 May 2014

More like Bankruptcy Tales I tell you. I'm sure a lot can relate. Twitter was pretty much flooded with the words I'mofficiallybroke right after the Sephora Beauty Insider Sale. Still, that doesn't mean that us broke girls spent our money unwisely right? I realized that I could actually save more by buying in larger quantity vs purchasing them separately every once in awhile :) The key is #1 plan the wishlist ahead and #2 stick to that damn list.

Lush • Ocean Salt Scrub

21 March 2014

Goodness I did not know it had VODKA in it! That's why i love its scent so much! — this was my response to Wendy's review on Lush's Ocean Salt Scrub. Which by the way also gave me the final push to grab it from the counter ASAP, thank you very much. Not that I drink a lot, nor does the product smell alcoholic, I just really like this scent :) I've been using it for quite awhile now, and it makes me happy as a clam every time I shower with it.

The Cream Factory • Goat's Milk Bath Creams

15 January 2014

It's been a rough week for me so far. I'm stressed more than usual and my emotions are out of control. How do you girls deal with bad days like these? I found myself grabbing for things that could take any burden off my shoulders - things like... french fries and chocolate. When I'm done trying to eat my stress away, which by the way does not work all the time, I treat myself to a nice relaxing shower. And ladies, these are the bath creams I've been using lately.

Lusting Over Lush Body Soaps

29 May 2013

Do you prefer using a bar of soap over liquid body wash? If I were to answer this question months ago, I would have said liquid body wash right away. But after using a couple of Lush's handmade natural soaps, I might have to change my mind. I used to literally run away from Lush store every time I walk pass by it in the mall. The scent of the soaps all together are overwhelming and the sight of soap openly stacked like a blocks of cheese was strange for me. Then I saw a lot of good reviews about their products and wondered what I was missing. I went to Lush and gave some of their soaps a try.
