Beauty On A Budget • Sleek Blushes

Guys did you notice the new "related posts" widget floating at the end of each post? It's the most unreliable thing ever lol. I rearranged my tags so I could share with you other similar entries that you may find helpful or interesting, but somehow it keeps suggesting the actual post itself! It doesn't seem to suggest other posts accordingly. I'll find a way to fix this tho, hopefully soon!

I've always had my eyes set on this palette since it first came out. But I wanted to make sure first that I was buying it for the right reasons, by that I mean not just because the packaging is shiny (it's my weak spot)  so I took my time review hopping and debating whether it's really worth spending on or not.

More like Bankruptcy Tales I tell you. I'm sure a lot can relate. Twitter was pretty much flooded with the words —I'm—officially—broke— right after the Sephora Beauty Insider Sale. Still, that doesn't mean that us broke girls spent our money unwisely right? I realized that I could actually save more by buying in larger quantity vs purchasing them separately every once in awhile :) The key is — #1 plan the wishlist ahead and #2 stick to that damn list.

One of my favorite things about our blogging community is discovering new brands from other fellow beauty bloggers. When I posted my rave on Nars Orgasm Blush, a lot of you suggested I try the brand Sleek. A few days after, I decided to purchase one item from them and it immediately became one of my favorite drugstore blushes of all time. I liked it so much that I even purchased another blush set from them which I am very excited to share with you next month :)

Review : Chanel Poudre Universelle Compacte

I wanted to make this review post extra extra special to honor Chanel. Then I realize I just couldn't  do justice to this elite brand. All I can do is take beautiful pictures (i hope you like em, im rather proud of it) and tell you how I feel about it. Most girls who are very much into fashion love Chanel. I was interested in fashion far before I started exploring make up, which is not so long ago. I grew fond of buying blushes, bronzers, lipsticks... and neglected to get a hold of that one simple thing a girl with an oily T-zone needs most - a natural face powder.

Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer in Nude

Laura Mercier has a good reputation on producing good liquid foundations and tinted moisturizers. I've always preferred using liquid foundations and never got the chance to try a lot of tinted moisturizers until Laura Mercier. This product won the hearts of a lot of beauty bloggers and received several of awards. Naturally, I got intrigued and went Rustans to purchase it. :)
